The Hot Zone
One zone at a time grants double XP and double realm points. It rotates regularly, so the crowd moves with it, and so do the hunters.
It's also the only place where the Towers of Mordred open their doors.
No realm will save you. Your group and your guild are the only friends you have.
A free, unofficial Dark Age of Camelot server built around free-for-all PvP, in the spirit of the classic Mordred ruleset. Played on the old world, rebuilt in HD.
The concept
Anyone can attack anyone. The only players who can't hit you are the ones in your group or your guild. Everyone else is fair game, wherever they were born.
Albion, Midgard and Hibernia still exist. You still pick one, and you still level in its lands. It just won't protect you.
The rules
Level 50 comes fast. The game starts when you can fight on equal terms, not after months of grinding.
Every player you kill is worth realm points, whatever realm they belong to.
Try a spec, hate it, change it. No cost, no stones to hunt.
Shrouded Isles and Trials of Atlantis zones are closed. Everything happens on the original lands of the three realms.
Towers of Mordred
We placed towers across every classic zone. They stay sealed most of the time. When their zone becomes the Hot Zone, the doors open, the guards come out, and anyone brave enough can go in after the loot.
Two Guards of Mordred hold the entrance. Get past them first.
A level 57 Tower Boss waits for you. Bring a group, or a lot of nerve.
High-level loot that refills every 10 to 14 hours. Whoever gets there first takes it.
Outside the current Hot Zone, every tower is sealed.
Reasons to go looking for trouble
Free-for-all is only fun when there's something to fight over. These systems make sure there always is.

/wanted
Streaks of 3, 5, 10, 15 and beyond are announced to the whole server. Everyone knows who's on a run.
End a streak of 5 or more and you earn 100 realm points for every kill in it. /wanted lists the most dangerous players alive.
/bounty
Someone ganked you one time too many? Put gold on their head. Whoever kills them collects it.
Take a PvP contract and go hunting. 10 kills earns you 100 bounty points.
Grey kills don't count toward contracts.
Spend your bounty points in the capitals.
Between fights
Found in every town with a teleporter. They hand out monster hunts worth 2.5 bubbles of XP each.
Posted at dungeon entrances, Summoner's Hall included. Each one has a daily quest to slay that dungeon's bosses.
Travel to the capitals, the towns and the frontier keeps. Getting to the fight shouldn't take all evening.
The old world, in HD
This is the classic 1.65-era geography, the "old map" from before Catacombs. Then we went over every inch of it.
